Aracelis Girmay was born in Santa Ana, California & currently splits her time between Brooklyn & Amherst, where she teaches at Hampshire College. She is the author of the poetry collections Teeth (Curbstone Press 2007) & Kingdom Animalia (BOA 2011), & the collage-based picture book changing, changing (George Braziller 2005).

Jenny Zhang is the author of the poetry collection, Dear Jenny, We Are All Find (Octopus Books 2012.) Her fiction, non-fiction, and poetry have appeared in Jezebel, Glimmertrain, The Iowa Review, The Guardian, Diagram, and Vice magazine. She writes for teenage girls at Rookie magazine, and teaches high school students in the Bronx.
