Star Black & Jean-Paul Pecqueur

Velleity’s Shade from Saturnalia Books is Star Black‘s sixth collection of poems. Her other books are Double Time, Balefire, Ghostwood, Waterworn, and October for Idas. She has taught at Eugene Lang College
at The New School and recently served as a Visiting Writer at Stonybrook Southampton MFA program. Her collages have been exhibited at Poet’s House and her hand-made books combining her poems with her collages were shown as an Artist’s Project earlier this year at The Center for Book Arts.

Jean-Paul Pecqueur’s first book of poetry, The Case Against Happiness, was published by Alice James Books.  New work has recently appeared in Fourteen HillsSo and SoRain TaxiBoog City, and Gulf Coast.  Jean-Paul is a native of the Pacific Northwest currently living in Brooklyn, where he teaches writing at the Pratt Institute.
