Laurie Duggan & Jennifer Firestone

Laurie Duggan was born in in Melbourne, Australia in 1949 and was involved in the poetry worlds of that city and Sydney through the 1970s and 80s. In 2006 he moved England where he lives in a market town in East Kent.  He has published some twenty books of poems together with Ghost Nation, a work about imagined space.  His history poem The Ash Range was republished in the UK by Shearsman and more recently Pressed Wafer republished The Epigrams of Martial. His most recent volumes are Crab & Winkle, Exeter, Shearsman, 2009; Allotments [1-29], Wendell, Massachusetts, Fewer & Further, 2011; The Pursuit of Happiness, Bristol, Shearsman, 2012; Leaving Here, Brisbane, Light-Trap Press, 2012; and The Collected Blue Hills, Sydney, Puncher & Wattman, 2012.

Jennifer Firestone is the author of Flashes (Shearsman Books) Holiday (Shearsman Books), Waves (Portable Press at Yo-Yo Labs), from Flashes and snapshot (Sona Books) and Fanimaly (Dusie Kollektiv). She is the co-editor of Letters To Poets: Conversations about Poetics, Politics and Community (Saturnalia Books), and an Assistant Professor of Literary Studies at Eugene Lang College (The New School).
