“Of Age” by Hannah Brooks-Motl

Of Age

The day comes crawling
I marry the theory
It’s just river
Outside my laughable house
Become flowered

What is the duration
Its object
I go in search of–
The fruit is tiny and sharp
“The age one few people reach”
