BETTER READ THAN DEAD: booksellers read from their shelves

Booksellers are unsung heroes of the poetry universe. More than independent, purveyors of out-of-print, hand-stapled or sewn, barely printed materials that circulate among us keep works alive outside the interest and view of regular commerce.

Jen Fisher (Vortexity Books, Ave A & 8th), Hadley Gitto (Book Disorder, Bushwick) and Dave Morse and Matty D’Angelo (Book Row, 867 Broadway, Bushwick) read from their collections and offer some rare finds for sale.
