We’re living in a time of legends, and what better way to examine our modern-day sagas than through The Poetry Project’s Spring Benefit – Epic Now: Epic Poetry for Epic Times. On Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, 2013 The Poetry Project invites poets and performers to present their own translations and/or re-interpretations of an epic poem – modern or classic. From gallant to gritty, elevated to exaggerated, these epic remixes by some of your favorite artists strive to touch our shared humanity.
